Dog Food Calculator: A Helpful Tool for Dog Owners

Dog Food Calculator is a free Android application that helps dog owners calculate the amount of food their dog needs to maintain a healthy weight, depending on their energy and activity level. It offers two types of calculations, the Resting Energy Requirement (RER) and the Maintenance Energy Requirement (MER), to provide a starting point for estimating the amount of food to be provided daily.

In addition, the app provides information on around 200 dog breeds, including their size, potential weight gain, energy level, intensity, exercise needs, and playfulness. This information is helpful in determining the amount of food required for each breed.

The application also calculates the number of cups per day, cost per day, cost per cup, and number of days the food will last based on the food provided. Dog Food Calculator supports three languages: English, Spanish, and Mandarin. However, it is important to note that individual pet needs can vary by as much as 50% from calculated values, and for accurate measurements, it is recommended to consult with a veterinary physician.
